The Brisbane Omega Showcase (Friday 11 August and Saturday 12 August) is an opportunity for writers—both established and aspiring—to showcase our work, to encourage each other through the words God has given us, to refresh and revitalise our vision and to find support for when the times are tough. See our Facebook Page. The inspiration and fun will kick off at 2pm Friday at Coopers Colonial Motel, Acacia Ridge, and again at 9 am on Saturday.

Darryl Dymock, tutor at the Queensland Writers Centre, will be speaking on memoir and how to start a writing group in your church.
Simon Kennedy, co-creator of the award-winning series, Safe Harbour, will be speaking on how to turn your manuscript into a screenplay.
Andrew Stone of Stone Creative Group will be inspiring us with his special blend of innovation and passion in spreading the love of God.
Lynne Stringer will be offering editorial consultancies. So too will Nola Passmore of The Write Flourish.
Rebekah Robinson of Beckon Creative will be giving us vital tips on cover design.
Mazzy Adams will be speaking on the pros and cons of keeping in a lane when it comes to genre.
Brad Smith will be offering us a devotional, fresh from his debut book.
Ruth Bonetti of Words and Music will be showing us how to speak to maximum effect as she introduces our guests.
Raelene Purtill will be presenting a session on Creative Writing.
Anne Hamilton will be speaking on inspiration and persistence. And you can speak to her throughout the day about the sort of manuscripts Armour Books is looking to publish.
